Items having to be sent by Courier due to their large weight or product types, can only be shipped to UK Mainland and lower Scotland regions ( contact us to clarify post codes if your not sure before ordering ) due to extensive costs charged by the couriers , otherwise any item that is capable of going via the regular mail service by the post office can be shipped to all regions of the UK.

 

PLEASE MAKE SURE SOMEONE IS IN TO SIGN FOR THE DELIVERY BETWEEN 8 am and 6 pm

If your ordering a item for delivery by Courier, please make sure someone iis at the delivery address all day (8am till 6pm ) for the items to be signed for, otherwise the items will be returned to us and any costs incurred by the courier for returning the goods will be charged on to you.   It will also cost you again to have the goods shipped out.  If the goods get returned due to no one being in to sign for the goods and you require a credit after its return to us, we will only refund initial costs less any courier delivery and returned costs incurred.   We will have all the paperwork from the courier clearly showing the costs incurred to return the goods.  

If you can't be sure of being in when the delivery is due, please arrange delivery to an address where there will be someone between the hours of 8am till 6pm.

Whilst still acceptably low, Our Royal Mail First class Postage charges are not just the cost of a stamp.  We also include all costs incurred in the packing material and also the cost of taking the postage to our nearest sorting office which is in excess of 20 miles away and obviously also the wages to cover that trip.  If you're not happy with our charges your very welcome to come and collect the goods from us as this service is free.

 

We do not make a profit on any of our shipping costs.

 

These courier none delivery costs will not be incurred if you choose to returning the goods after you have physically received them.

 

WE ONLY SHIP TO UK ADDRESSES

Most products either by Phone or on line are shipped same day if received before 3.00pm, and will be delivered within 1 - 5 working days depending on your requested means of delivery. 24 hour Courier deliveries are usually next working day but occasionally, due to postal delays, this can take longer. We have to allow up to 14 days before we are able to start tracing lost parcels. Unfortunately we cannot do anything for you until this time has expired. If you do not receive your parcel within this period, please contact us so we can help retrieve your order. We apologise for any delay.

HOW TO ORDER

When in stock, Items are usually dispatch within 24 hours and sent first class Royal Mail or By City link our next working day courier. If an item is out of stock it will not allow you to order so you can be assured that the purchase you make will be dispatched. 

SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS

Please note that all sizes, measurements and capacities shown are approximate and can change at anytime due to manufacturing updates or product changes beyond our control.  Please call us for full confirmation on all data before buying.

 

PICTURES ON THE WEBSHOP.

Due to the on-going development by the Manufacturers and the varying product supply chain which is out of our control, we can not change the pictures on the web shop quick enough when stock design changes, and thus we can not guarantee the goods as advertised will be identical to the pictures on our web shop.   We can guarantee the goods will be identical or exceed the quality of the item in the picture. So the pictures on our web shop are for illustration purposes only.  If you have a specific requirement where the pictured item will only work due to your application, we always ask that you call us for full product specification first and we will forward you current pictures that we will take that day of request of the status of our stock.  If you do buy any item and are not happy with it, please return it in a unused in an unopened state and we will happy refund you the cost of the item purchased but not the postage costs.

 

DELIVERY

we ship promptly and whilst all goods by first class recorded post usually arrives next day 99.9% of the time but we have to state what the post office says which is postal delivery's can take up to 14 days for delivery if by post or where as usually next working day if sent out by our courier depending where you are in the UK.  Anything over 2 kg we usually send out by next day courier unless you tell us otherwise.

 

FAULTY & DAMAGED GOODS

In the event of you identifying a possible faulty or damaged goods please call us on 01179537000 or e-mail us at sales@getgas.co.uk to talk to our technical team.  Please have your order / invoice number, description of goods, and nature of the fault to hand so we can see if we can offer a solution or fix to your problem because 98% of the time when we receive calls with product problems we can resolve them over the phone without any delay or need to change any parts.  Should you still have a problem after talking to our technical team, you will be issued with a returns number to include with your returned goods.

Please note: We do not cover consequential losses, cost of any damage caused by faulty items we supply or any labour or repair costs incurred should you choose to replace or have repaired on any of our products yourselves.   Please do call us and speak to our technical team members before assuming a product is actually faulty as the majority of equipment problems can be simply identified and resolved without any delays over the phone.   All goods will be tested on their return to us.

Please return item(s) to the address listed, including the invoice, an explanation of the fault, and your returns number. FAULTY GOODS MUST BE NOTIFIED WITH 7 DAYS AND RETURNED WITHIN 28 DAYS. If the goods are found to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault, we will arrange for either a replacement or a refund to your credit card or payment method for the cost of the returned item only.

 

Please If you have any problems, do not hesitate to contact us as we can resolve many product problems with so called faulty goods over the phone with no need to return any item or products.

PRICES

The prices payable for goods and services are as set out in our web site and on line catalogues. Prices are correct at time of order but we do however reserve the right to change prices without prior notice subject to errors, omissions and exclusions.

 

CANCELLATION

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
The item ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel the order we will notify you by e-mail and will refund your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event, within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

 

EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

We shall have no liability for any failure to deliver your order, or any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect to goods delivered, caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, or accident.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

You grant us a non-exclusive, world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use any information you provide to us, (ie mailing list). Such information shall be legal, decent, honest and truthful, shall not infringe ant third party's rights, shall not contain any computer viruses or other malicious computer programming routines, and shall not link to any other web sites.

 

SECURITY

We use third party services to secure and protect your credit card information. However, any losses incurred or sustained by you in transmitting information shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any losses in whole or part be borne by us or our representatives. If you are using a public computer you must sign out in accordance with their procedures when finished.

 

GOVERNING LAW

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. English law to include Data Protection Act 1998, and The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

Our usually practise is to advise you if we are out of stock of an item but If, for any reason, we are unable to supply any item you have ordered, we will supply a substitute product of similar specification, and of similar or greater value. If you prefer to wait for your product to be re-stocked, or wish to have a refund on any out-of-stock products, please un-check the Substitution Policy box or advise us when ordering if this is not acceptable.
